Privacy Policy

Rodolfo Santos Torres, Responsible for the purposes of the Federal Law on Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the “Data Law”), and interchangeably referred to as “The Responsible Party” or “Caliza Travel,” with an address at Calle 39 between 54 and 52 #471C Centro 97000, Mérida Yucatán. In accordance with the provisions of article 17, section II of the Data Law, it informs you that it will process the personal data collected from you for the following purposes:

Identify the traveler.

  1. Provide information about products and services of our company.
  2. Guarantee customer service.
  3. Receive communications for commercial purposes.
  4. Respond to concerns, complaints, or queries.
  5. Update about our services and products.
  6. For compliance with the rights and obligations acquired by signing the Service Contract.
  7. For service satisfaction surveys.
  8. To inform our clients, by any means, about the activities carried out by Caliza Travel.Therefore, and to achieve the purposes set out above, the following personal data will be processed:

Customers

About clients: Full name, email, phone number, address, and zip code.

Employees

Full name, personal address (street, interior and exterior number), neighborhood, delegation or municipality, postal code, home and cell phone, personal and professional email, highest degree of education, certificate achieved, institution where you obtained your academic degree, as well as the following sensitive data: marital status and name of the spouse.

In relation to the personal data mentioned in the previous paragraphs, “Caliza Travel” undertakes that the processing will be absolutely essential for the aforementioned purposes and will be treated with appropriate security measures to protect their confidentiality. If another purpose is foreseen, your authorization will be requested by modifying the respective Privacy Notice.

“Caliza Travel” has appointed Lic. Rodolfo Santos Torres as the person in charge of personal data, through whom you, in accordance with the provisions of “the Data Law,” may request via email info@calizatravel.com the exercise of your ARCO rights, which consists of access to your personal data, its rectification, cancellation, or opposition to its processing for specific purposes. The person in charge is responsible for following up on your request and giving you a response within the next 20 (twenty) business days. Likewise, through the person in charge, you may revoke your consent to this Privacy Notice by going to the address where the person in charge is located or by email, requesting acknowledgment of receipt.

ARCO Procedure

To exercise your ARCO rights and/or revoke your consent for the processing of your personal data by “Caliza Travel,” you must submit a request (“Request for Exercise of ARCO Rights”) to the manager, to the email address mentioned above, accompanying the following information:

  1. Name, complete address (street, interior and/or exterior number, neighborhood, zip code, city, and state).
  2. Identification with which you prove your personality (INE credential, valid passport, professional license, or immigration document).
  3. A clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which you seek to exercise any of the ARCO Rights, what the right to exercise is, and the reasons why you wish to exercise it.
  4. Any document or information that proves that your personal data is the property of “Caliza Travel.”
  5. If you request a rectification of data, the modifications to be made will also be indicated, and the documentation that supports your request will be provided.

The person in charge will respond to your Request by email or in person at Calle 39 between 54 and 52 #471C Centro 97000, Mérida Yucatán, within a period of 20 (twenty) business days from the date the acknowledgment of the request is sent. If the Request is appropriate, the response may be sent via email or in person. Caliza Travel may request that you, to respond, present the original of the documents, your request for comparison at the address described above, within 5 (five) business days from which they are requested. If after this period you have not submitted the documents, your application will be archived, and the Privacy Notice will remain in force until a new application is submitted.

When the request is appropriate and the corresponding checks have been carried out with respect to the personality and ownership of the ARCO Rights, the terms for carrying out the request will be as follows:

For access to data: within a period of 15 days from the affirmative response made by the person responsible.

To rectify the data: within a period of 15 days from the affirmative response made by the person responsible.

For the cancellation or opposition of data: a block will first be made, from the moment in which the required documentation was compared, where access to personal data will be restricted to any person until there is a response to the request, whether affirmative or negative. In the first case, within a period of 15 days from the affirmative response made by the person in charge, and in the second case, they will be unblocked to continue with the treatment.

The deadlines referred to in the previous sections may be extended only once for an equal period if necessary and with prior notification made by the person in charge.

“Caliza Travel” may deny the exercise of ARCO rights in the following cases:

  • When you are not the owner of the personal data or cannot prove the representation of the owner.
  • When your personal data does not exist in the Controller’s database.
  • When the rights of a third party are injured.
  • When there is a legal impediment or the resolution of a competent authority that restricts your ARCO Rights.
  • In case of cancellation, when personal data are processed for the management of educational services and;
  • When the rectification, cancellation, or opposition has been previously made.

The refusal may be partial, in which case “Caliza Travel” will carry out access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition in the appropriate part. The Exercise of ARCO Rights will be free, but if you repeat your request in a period of fewer than twelve months, the costs will be three days of the Minimum Wage in force in Merida Yucatán, plus VAT, unless there are substantial modifications to the Notice. of Privacy that motivate new Requests to exercise ARCO Rights. You must cover the justified shipping costs or the cost of reproduction in copies or other formats.

Information transfer

We inform you that personal data may be transferred inside and outside the country, to third parties other than “Caliza Travel,” in a manner consistent with the purpose of data processing and the legal nature of the relationship between you and the person responsible. The institutions to which we make transfers are: the respective Insurance Companies and third-party payers, for the corresponding payment purposes, to the service providers for the distribution of their products, billing services, and service promotion purposes. If there is a refusal on the part of the owner to provide data to these institutions, it will be necessary to send an email to: info@calizatravel.com indicating the information you do not wish to be transferred. In accordance with Article 37 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, the information may be transferred to the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit for the generation of invoices.

Modifications to the privacy notice

“Caliza Travel” reserves the right to make modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice
